Graduate Internship Opportunities

Are you a master’s-level student in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field? Family Service of the Chautauqua Region offers a supportive, hands-on internship experience designed to help you grow as a professional while making a difference in your community.

As an intern, you’ll:

  • Work directly with individuals, couples, and families in our community-based and office-based counseling programs.
  • Receive supervision from experienced, licensed clinicians who are passionate about supporting your development.
  • Gain exposure to a variety of service areas, including outpatient counseling, home-based programs, Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services, and community partnerships.
  • Learn about the inner workings of a nonprofit mental health agency—from clinical documentation to collaborative care.

We value interns as an important part of our team and strive to create an experience that is both educational and personally rewarding.

Eligibility:

  • Enrollment in an accredited master’s program in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
  • Ability to meet program requirements for clinical supervision and internship hours.
